DDS-XRCE Standard Performance Evaluation of Different Communication Scenarios in IoT Technologies

Although the increasing number of technological products brings many solutions for Internet Things (IoT) applications, it also causes some drawbacks, such as whether product in question would run accordingly to a system structured enable high-performance like Data Distribution Service (DDS). Therefore, capabilities must be defined say that they are compatible enough. This paper aims evaluate performance DDS-XRCE standard while observing its working mechanism. As test scenarios, we benefit from three deployments occurred due kind receiver and sender, path packets follow, protocols used. Test conditions were set by switching stream modes, transport profiles, limiting packet deliveries. We obtained environment creating DDS objects using several eProsima implementations tools standards. monitored network messages two ways: 1) Using multiple Gnome Terminator terminals observation via human eye during testing. 2) Wireshark save information further examination. conducted 36 experiments focusing on latency, throughput, loss. result our study, is deemed suitable applications.
